About 3rd Culture

3RD CULTURE is an Istanbul based design company with the mission to create products that celebrate the strength born from cultural diversity. Combining visual components and references from various different cultures, our homeware collection promotes a global and inclusive design aesthetic. Founded in 2015 by designer Zeynep Rende and photographer Emre Rende, the 3RD CULTURE brand encompasses a unique collection of photography, home textiles and accessories created under the brand’s creative guideline ‘Inspired by the world, created in Istanbul’.

Our production

As a brand we make sure to make the most of Istanbul's deep rooted history of production and craftsmanship by working with local workshops and artisans. The cushions are handmade in Beyoğlu, while the photography is printed with one of the most respected specialised printers of the city. Our peshtemals and throws are woven in Denizli, a region synonymous with cotton weaving, where the local women finish the ends of our peshtemals by hand. Global inspiration, local production.
